This past week was hard. I found myself continuously behind in my tasks while experiencing challenges at home with out of town guests, and a house full of screaming girls for my daughter’s birthday. At the beginning of this new week I realize that I have drifted too far from the routine that attracted all of these current opportunities into my life.
For months I would wake up at 4am and listen to motivational videos, then get on the phone with Matthew and recite our daily mantra, which basically declared our intentions to live our lives on purpose and with great positive effect. The result was amazing. We started attracting wonderful like minded people into our lives, like Nate, Terrence, Naidra, Kimberly, Crystal and few others who have started stepping up their game and a team was formed.
Then for reasons that escape me, we stopped doing our morning routine. I can claim life getting in the way, but if I’m honest it was because of my mindset. I had decided that all this new activity demanded more work, and less thoughtfulness. Thinking more about myself and less about the team and what we all bring to the table. We are powerful individuals that have found ourselves at the door of greatness, all we have to do is walk through.
This morning I started my day by feeding my mind engine something powerful. A Youtuber named Evan Carmichael, created a video on how to train your mindset, where he collected inspirational clips from several motivational figures.
Be careful, this is very powerful stuff and you may be surprised at how addictive positive energy can be. Let’s make this morning the beginning of a new chapter for our team. In the book of our life, this is the character building middle part.
One last thing, I recently found a new show to watch on Netflix with one of the most catchy and motivational theme songs. Its is stuck in my head this morning and I couldn’t be more grateful. It states one word repeatedly that resonates with me. Unbreakable! That’s what we are.
Peace!
