When was the last time you worked out? I’m talking about a solid 30-45 minutes of sweat inducing, heart rate increasing activity. Don’t get me wrong, I was never a fitness guy coming up. In fact, most of the time I don’t look forward to the gym, but I can’t argue with how I feel when I go.
Your body needs that movement, if not every day, at least 3-4 times a week to function more efficiently. Your workout is like an armor against sickness and lethargy, but only if you wear it often. To me the key to making exercise a more important part of my life was determining my “why.” My reason for getting out of the house to make it happen. In my case I had an uncle who didn’t workout and his health deteriorated until he was gone too soon at 51. It's a story that’s unfortunately too common for so many of us.
Today is a new day, and even if you spend 20 minutes walking briskly around the block you're doing the lord’s work for your body. I only bring this up because we’re building a team and a system that will see us all achieving great things together, and I want a strong and healthy team at my side. Ask me about my workout sometimes, and I’ll ask you. Let’s keep each other accountable to ourselves and make sure we don’t get so busy working that we forget to sweat!
Here’s a little video I made awhile back to get you started, if you haven’t already…Click Here
Go out and break a sweat today!
Peace!
