Relax. Take a deep breath. Exhale slowly. How do feel? If you’re like me, just taking that moment to pause and relax your mind does wonders. I don’t know what it is about the stress we experience on a daily basis, but I often forget to just try to relax.
Every day from the moment we wake up we’re flooded with decisions that need to be made. From what clothes to wear to choosing which clients to spend your time servicing, having a clear mind to analyze and make those choices is key. If we don’t keep our stress at bay, we can wind up being less productive and building even more tension for ourselves.
If you feel tense and you’re having trouble making a decision or carrying out some task, remember to pause for just a moment. Relax. Take a deep breath. Exhale slowly. Get up and walk away from the issue for a moment, take a 20 minute power nap, exercise. My point is that you need to connect with an activity that lowers your anxiety, so that you’re ready to tackle the challenges of the day. So make it a point today to find your moments to relax.
