Why Choose Just One?

Team,

Today I had so many topics that I wanted to write about, then I asked myself “why choose just one”? I can’t imagine what it must be like running a newspaper because coming up with new content everyday is one thing, but coming up with new motivational content is another.

Happiness and Morale

I was having a talk with a friend of mine yesterday and it put me in mind of Happiness and Morale. My friend was talking about how unhappy she is at her job which consists of making sure that the public school she works at is in compliance with educational guidelines. She mentioned how her father initially “guided” her to this field, but now at 34 she’s fed up with almost all of it. It’s hard to be happy and have “high morale” when you’re living someone else’s dream. It’s said that if you pursue a particular field, you should have at least 7 good reasons for doing so because if not, when the going gets tough...you’re going to break.

Schedules

How did it make you feel the last time that you went to a store during their business hours only to find out they were closed? Did it make more likely or less likely to shop there in the future? Keeping a tight schedule is important, especially when dealing with a team.

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.” ~Steven Covey

Updates

We’re close to finalizing an agreement with one of our lead sources. This is going to generate more opportunities for the entire team. In order to capitalize on the success we’re working towards, its going to require more training and preparation. Please schedule a call if you’d like to know what you must do to in order to “be ready” when opportunity knocks.

Training

Please don’t forget that Nate Stull, a part of this team, is a very successful investor with a lot of knowledge that he’s ready to share via scheduled training sessions. Who’s Ready, Able, and Willing to step up and help coordinate those sessions? I feel it’s my job to create these kinds of opportunities for growth and education, for those willing to step up and take advantage!

Vitamin Me

Remember to take your “Vitamin Me” daily, sometimes we get so wrapped up doing things for everyone else that we forget about ourselves. This “disease to please” is one of the leading causes of stress. Some of us are so far away from doing what we love, that if we had a whole day to do whatever we wanted, we probably wouldn’t even know where to start. But guess what? As long as you are fortunate enough to “wake up” each morning, you have the opportunity to do what you really want to do. It’s time to beat the odds and start living the life that you were destined to live. MAKE it happen and always, MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!
