What Kind of Student Are You?

Last night I was talking to a couple team members when I realized that I must not of made it clear how much communication we need as a team. In short, we expect the level of communication amongst the team and our clients to be gauged by each person’s level of passion for finding and working on their niche.

If you know your role and love it, we expect to be in communication with you 3-4 times per week, a couple times a day, or at least once per day by email or text if you are not full time. If you’re someone who is trying to find their niche, you should be in contact with us daily until we can help you figure it out.

We have several way to communicate; notes, text, email, phone call, social media, instant message, etc. Although we have our preferred method, we also know how to adapt to other ways of communication as long as it makes sense. At the end of the day, it’s all about connecting with each other so that we can learn and grow together.

Imagine students in the classroom, the ones that show up daily and ask the most questions are going to do the best. The ones that don’t show up and don’t ask questions….well they’re going to do poorly. We know this to be true so our expectations for frequent communication is high.

We’re all students on this team, some of us are working in an advanced course while others are learning fundamentals. Regardless of what level we’re on, we have to be good students in order to learn the lesson being taught. We’re not going to learn anything good if we’re not strategic with our lessons and our communication.

Real estate has many lessons, and if we aren’t strategic about our lesson plan, we’re going to spend a lot of time learning indirectly about the ugly side of this business. The side that makes people quit altogether and deters others from getting into the business at all. We want to help you avoid getting a full understanding of that side of the business, and enable your learning the fun and profitable side of real estate. Make sense?

Hopefully it does and hopefully you make today a great one! Lot’s of opportunities out there, let’s pounce on them together!
