The inside of a hoop-house can reach temperatures over 110 degrees, that's hot even for most plants. If you don't keep the temperature below 90 degrees or so, you can burn your plants (ask me how I know this).
To lower the temperature, hoop-houses have sides that can be rolled up or down. If you want to cool things off, you simply roll up the sides and let the cooler air in and the hotter air out. I kept the sides rolled up during the day, and rolled down during the night. The plants loved it!
One morning while watering my plants, I got the idea to start exercising in the hoop-house. I tell you what, I typically don't sweat during my workouts unless it's very hot and if I'm working out pretty hard, however, I didn't have to workout long at all before I was drenched in sweat!
I give Johnny D from Y.O. credit for hanging in there. On this day I keep the side of the hoop-house up because I wanted it to be extra hot for the workout. And hot it was! On this day the temperature was pushing close to 130 degrees!
I thought Johnny D from Y.O. was going to give up and quit, but nope! He hung in there like the solider he is. Good job Johnny D. from Y.O.!
