For some Black women, going the perm route is a no brainer, while for others, Au Naturale is the way to go.
Whatever the chosen route, it can sometimes take weeks, months, or years to make a decision because there are so many things to factor in.
A perm will make your hair nice and straight, but can also cause it to fall out after a while….not to mention there are several activities that most Black Women with a perm won’t do; like anything that requires breaking a sweat.
Natural styles require more time, effort, patience, and sometimes money, especially in the beginning stages…plus it can be hard finding a reliable natural stylist that you can trust with your locs.
