Vetta WristLoc Band: Detroit Based Business

Updated: Feb 28, 2022

The Vetta WristLoc Band is a unique wristband that allows hairstylists, seamstresses, and other professionals to keep their most important tools “Locked In" on their wrists. The product was created by Arvetta Sinkford, a Detroit native (East Siiiiiiide).

Arvetta invented the product a couple of years ago and recently received a patent for her invention; she’s been selling her product online and also out of TNT Beauty Supply (a hair shop in Albion, Michigan).

If you visit her IG, Facebook Page, and Website, you’ll see that Ms. Sinkford is always showing her love and appreciation of others by promoting THEIR businesses and accomplishments on her platforms. Just imagine if everyone showed so much love?

And guess what? I’m proud to be able to call this inventor a close friend! I first met Arvetta, or V-Deezy (as I like to call her), back in 2012. At the time, I was a Keller Williams agent and she was a potential homebuyer that reached me by way of Zillow.

At the time, V-Deezy was looking to buy a home for her family; she wanted to enter into a land contract with a downpayment of $15,000 on a $40,000 home. After talking to her, I convinced her to apply for a mortgage because I felt that based on what she told me, she’d qualify for one….and she did!

Not only did she qualify for the mortgage, she also qualified for $5000 in down payment assistance through MSHDA! By trusting in my leadership and following my instructions, instead of having to put down $15,000 on a home, she was able to spend less than $2,500 for her down payment, Deposit, Appraisal, and home inspection (for a $80,000+ home in Eastpointe, MI)!

I share the details of our first deal together because from Day One, V-Deezy (and only I get to call her that) has been a Goal-Getter! This is a woman that will envision what she wants, do the research, and then take action!

There are so many amazing stories that I can share with you about my homie, like how she educated hundreds of people with her credit repair consulting business, and how she’s currently a SisterLoc Consultant doing installs on the weekend…but don’t take my word for it, check out her podcast; listen to her story as it is told in her own words.

Keep doing your thang V-Deezy!

This has been a #TeamWoods moment in Black History.
